<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus operating device for operating an output/stop, etc., of a speech message appropriately in corresponding to a user's desire in the apparatus operating device provided with a speech information function. SOLUTION: An apparatus operating device has an operating means 1; a speech synthesizing means 2 for synthesizing a speech message which informs an operating condition of an apparatus, an operating condition of the operating means 1, or the like; a speech output means 3 for outputting the speech message synthesized by the speech synthesizing means 2; and a control means 4 for controlling these. With a control arrangement, when a predetermined operation by the operating means 1 is accepted during an output of a speech message from the speech output means 3, an output of the speech message during the output of the control means 4 is disconnected. Further, when the disconnection operation is repeated on the same speech message, after that, the output of the speech message is stopped.</p> |
