PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data drive type information processing device capable of performing a functional packet copy for speedily reading large data of indefinite length from a memory without affecting the other packet flows. SOLUTION: By using self-synchronous transfer control circuits 311 and 312, the number of packet copies outputted from a data holding resistor 316 is controlled by a counter 314, and the number of copies indicated by a copy request packet and a counted value on the counter 314 are referred to so as to judge by a comparator 315 whether a packet copy operation is terminated or not.
