PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a single sign-on system even when each web site authenticates one user by different authentication data. SOLUTION: When a user computer 40 first accesses the first web site, a first web server 12 transmits a request for first authentication data to the user computer 40 and receives the response therefrom, and then it authenticates the user on the basis of the received first authentication data and prepares a cookie of the personal customer code related to the first authentication data, and then transmits the cookie to the user computer 40 together with the web page. After that, when the user computer 40 accesses the second web site during a session with the first web server 12, a second web server 14 acquires the cookie from the user computer 40 and transmits the web page to the user computer without requesting the authentication data if the personal customer code included in the cookie is effective.
