PURPOSE: A tether of a filler cap is provided to improve convenience in filling by restricting the tether for preventing loss of the filler cap from being fitted to a hand of a worker in opening and closing the filler cap. CONSTITUTION: A tether(40) of a filler cap connects the side of the filler cap to a filler door or the side of a side panel to prevent loss of the filler cap in filling. A first curved hook(42) is formed in the side of the tether connected to the filler cap corresponding to the outer curvature of the filler cap. A second round hook(44) is formed in the other side of the tether connected to the filler door or the side panel. Cut portions(43,45) are formed in the centers of the first hook and the second hook. A long part of the tether is bent within the range of 30 - 50 angular degrees, and the difference between the inner diameter and the outer diameter of the first hook is within the range of 3 - 5 mm.
