PURPOSE: A safety system using dry foam is provided to protect the whole body of a passenger by jetting dry foam around the passenger and absorbing shock. CONSTITUTION: A safety system using dry foam is composed of a dry foam tank(51) storing compressed dry foam, nozzles(54), a line(53) connecting the dry foam tank to the nozzles, a valve(52) installed at the outlet of the dry foam tank and opening/closing the line, and a control unit(50). The nozzles are installed at the inside of an inner panel in a door and an instrument panel, and jets dry foam. The control unit operates the valve by a signal of a collision sensor(60).
