The present invention relates to an automatic toll collection system based on a virtual toll using a smartphone to improve security by performing authentication by using a USIM mounted on the smartphone and to conveniently paying tolls. The present invention forms the automatic toll collection system based on the virtual toll using the smartphone comprising: an expressway corporation system to transmit virtual toll position information, to perform authentication based on USIM information of a toll payment terminal, to process toll payment with the roll payment terminal through a network after the authentication, and to control an unpaid toll process; and the toll payment terminal to set the virtual toll based on the virtual toll position information transmitted from the expressway corporation system and current position information, to request authentication based on information of the USIM by connecting with the expressway corporation system when passing through the virtual toll, to calculate a toll when the authentication is normally executed, and to process toll charging. |
