<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an explosive mechanical separation element, in which a casing 2 holding an electric conductor 3 inside, a separation piston 5, a plastic separation chisel 8 arranged in the separation piston 5 for separating the electric conductor 3, and an explosive technological igniter 1 holding explosive technological charged explosives for driving the separation piston 5 are arranged while a cutting edge provided in the separation chisel 8 slides along opposed edge parts or a component 4 of the casing 2 when the separation piston 5 or the separation chisel 8 is driven and when the electric conductor 4 is cut, for separating the conductor having a large cross section by the separation chisel without increasing a manufacturing cost greatly. <P>SOLUTION: The cutting edge of the separation chisel and/or the opposed edge parts of the casing 2 or the opposed edge parts of the component 4 in the casing 2 are formed of inserted structural elements 6 and 7 having hardness higher than that of plastic. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
