<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple buying and selling assisting terminal and method. <P>SOLUTION: An input part 11 inputs a buying/selling target article as buying desire information or selling desire information. A transmitting/receiving part 13 transmits or receives the inputted buying desire information or selling desire information by an antenna 12 with a predetermined frequency. A buying and selling information storing part 14 stores the inputted buying desire information or selling desire information. An information comparing part 15 compares the received selling desire information with the stored buying desire information, or compares the received buying desire information with the stored selling desire information. A display part 16 displays the inputted buying/selling desire information for confirmation, and displays a predetermined signal with strength according to a reception distance when the buying/selling conditions are coincident with each other from the comparison result.
