PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current driven self-luminous display device of an organic EL display device or the like effectively avoiding influence from a neighboring pixel by reducing power consumption.

SOLUTION: In configuration driving a light emitting element 12 by a transistor TR2 by source follower circuit configuration from gate source voltage Vgs by voltage between terminals of a capacitor C2 for holding a signal level, the gate voltage of the transistor TR2 is set at cut-off voltage to control light emission and non-light emission of the light emitting element 12.
