VP2 OF STRUCTURAL PROTEIN OF MOUSE PARVOVIRUS (MPV), DNA ENCODING THE PROTEIN, ANTIBODY DETECTION KIT USING THE PROTEIN AS AN ANTIGEN AND METHOD FOR DETECTING ANTIBODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a specific and high-sensitive serological examination of MVP and a diagnostic method by using a protein that is expressed specifically in MPV as an antigen.

SOLUTION: VP2 which is a structural protein of MVP, further a DNA encoding the protein are provided. In addition, the followings are provided: a recombinant plasmid including the DNA encoding the VP2 of the MPV; Escherichia coli that is transformed with the recombinant plasmid containing DNA encoding the VP2 of the MPV; an antibody detection kit using the VP2 that is a structure protein of the MPV as an antigen; and a method for detecting the antibody by using the VP2 that is a structure protein of the MPV as an antigen.
