The invention relates to a coupling device (1; 21) for coupling a drive device (2; 22) to an output element (7; 27), comprising a drive device (2; 22), which is designed to provide a drive movement and which is paired with a first magnet device, and an output element (7; 27), which is provided for being moved by the drive device (2; 22) and which is paired with a second magnet device. According to the invention, one magnet device comprises a superconductor (15; 28), and the other magnet device comprises a permanent magnet arrangement (16) and/or a magnet coil arrangement (31). The magnet devices are designed for a magnetic interaction, by means of which a contactless force-transmitting and force-limiting coupling is ensured between the superconductor (15; 28) and the permanent magnet arrangement (16) and/or magnet coil arrangement (31) at a specifiable working distance to each other.
