<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the determination accuracy of congestion scale determination means for determining the congestion state of a network occurring when a two-way real time communication is performed between a plurality of end hosts through an IP network by the congestion scale determination means connected to the network and to also grasp the congestion scale. <P>SOLUTION: Each end host is connected to the network through an FEC proxy and quality measuring means corresponding to the end host. Each quality measuring means measures the restored state of an error correction in the corresponding each FEC proxy, and determines the quality state of a session unit between the end hosts for performing the two-way real time communication. The congestion scale determination means puts together the quality state of the session unit determined by the each quality measuring means, and determines the congestion state or the recovery state of the area unit of the network having the same congestion point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
