<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently carry out methane fermentation by preventing unstable factors in dry methane fermentation, that is, preventing a decrease of pH value. <P>SOLUTION: The methane fermentation method is employed for producing and recovering methane gas by methane-fermenting biomass 1 in a tank 2 under an anaerobic condition and an aqueous methanogenic bacteria solution separated from the biomass 1 by solid-liquid separation is discharged outside of the tank 2 and the fatty acids in the discharged aqueous methanogenic bacteria solution are decomposed and the treated aqueous solution is reused for the fermentation under the anaerobic condition after the fatty acid treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
