Disclosed is the use of a composition comprising a compound of any of formulae I, II, IIa, III and lIla, or a combination thereof, for the manufacture of a medicament for treating a condition requiring stimulation of erythropoiesis, such as anaemia. Also disclosed is a product comprising at least one compound of any of formulae I, II, lIa, III and lIla and human erythropoietin, as a combined preparation for separate, simultaneous or sequential use in therapy. |
