Disclosed is a method for reducing traffic of a mobile network which is performed by an edge node (EN). The method for reducing traffic of the mobile network comprises: a step of receiving an uplink packet (UL packet) transmitted from a user terminal; a step of determining whether the UL packet is an appropriate packet to be transmitted to a first destination by inspecting a header of the UL packet; and a step of altering the destination of the UL packet to a second destination on a mapping table, if the UL packet is determined to be an appropriate packet to be transmitted to the first destination.
