The broadband HF commutator has a number of matched lines coupled at one end to a common output terminal and at the other to separate switches eac supplied with an input signal and a control signal. Each switch is designed to reduce the capacitance on the output side of that switch, and consists of two anti-series diodes between the switch's input terminal and its output terminal (connected to the line's input). A transistor collector is coupled to the anode-junction between the two diodes, and its emitter is earthed. A positive supply voltage is applied over a resistor to the collector, and the control signal is applied over another resistor to the base. The cathode of both diodes are earthed via resistors.
