1423234 Releasably secured cladding panels J S JOHANSEN 7 March 1973 [22 March 1972] 11101/73 Heading E1W Panels 1 are releasably secured to parallel supporting rails 2 in a wall or ceiling by locking members 8 accessible in a gap between the panels of the cladding from the facing side. The locking members are provided with a keying portion 9 engageable by rotation with the sides of an outwardly directed under cut groove in the rails and longitudinally slidable therein together with at least one retaining wing which is simultaneously brought into engagement with an edge groove of the panels. The members 8 are of metal or plastics and may be provided with a slot so that they may be turned with a screw driver. The panels may be rabetted to interengage with each other on their other pair of opposite edges. |
