<p>The control system for a change gear arrangement is used especially in a combine harvester. The change gear system has forward and reverse speeds and a steplessly adjustable mechanical drive section with electrical actuation for improving operating comfort and for lowing the cost of the transmission system. The gear drive is changed preferably by solenoid clutches and preselector mechanism is provided for stepless change of the drive. A joint common driving lever is provided for selection of travelling direction, for controlling the power and for gear ratio adjustment in the stepless gear. Each clutch can be actuated when the stepless drive is at its lowest output speed.</p> |
