摘要 Disclosed is an optical film that has excellent adhesion and surface hardness between the film substrate and a hard coat layer or other functional layer, has improved brittleness, is transparent, and has low moisture absorption and high heat resistance. Additionally disclosed are an antireflective film, a polarizing plate, and a display device using the same. The optical film has at least a hard coat layer or a back coat layer as a functional layer containing a resin on a film substrate, and is characterized in that said film substrate contains a thermoplastic acrylic resin (A) and a cellulose ester resin (B), with the content ratio by mass of said thermoplastic acrylic resin (A) and said cellulose ester resin (B) being in a range thermoplastic acrylic resin (A):cellulose ester resin (B)=95:5 to 50:50.

An optical film comprising a film substrate and a hard coat layer containing a resin on the film substrate, wherein the film substrate contains a mixture of a thermoplastic acrylic resin (A) and a cellulose ester resin (B), a content ratio by mass of the thermoplastic acrylic resin (A) to the cellulose ester resin (B) in the film substrate is in a range of the thermoplastic acrylic resin (A)/the cellulose ester resin (B)=90/10 to 60/40, a weight average molecular weight of the thermoplastic acrylic resin (A) contained in the film substrate is in a range of 110,000 to 500,000, the hard coat layer contains a thermoplastic acrylic resin, a weight average molecular weight of the thermoplastic acrylic resin contained in the hard coat layer is in a range of 80,000 to 500,000, and the thermoplastic acrylic resin contained in the hard coat layer exists more in quantity in the vicinity of an interface between the film substrate and the hard coat layer than the hard coat layer surface.
