<p>1462068 Multiple fastenings FICHET-BAUCHE 29 Jan 1974 [5 Feb 1973 13 Nov 1973] 04104/74 Heading E2A A locking device with multiple bolts actuated simultaneously from a locking mechanism comprising transmission between the mechanism and bolts, the bolts and mechanism being received in a case attachable to a door, the keeper for the bolts being received in a case attachable to a door frame. The lock mechanism transmission rods 33, 34, 39, 42 and the bolts 31, 32, 13, 14, 37, 38 are housed in a case 23 of channel shape and secured to one edge of a door by screws 53. The case has a channel shaped cover 61 secured thereto by screws 69 both case and cover have aligned apertures for projecting the bolts. A key activated lock cylinder 11 with rotatable barrel 12 fits in holes in the lock casing and in the door. A half turn bolt 14 is connected to a handle 21, 22 on each side of the door. Bolt 44 projects into a recess in floor. The keeper comprises a U shaped member 81 and cover 93, each with aligned apertures 88 to 92 and 95 to 99 for the bolts.
