<p>Sock comprises a leg which at one location has two walls joined together at their peripheries, except for the edge directed towards the opening of the sock, to form a pocket. Pref. the outer of the two walls is knitted in a different fashion to the remainder of the leg, or made of material of a different kind to the remainder of the leg, or made of material of a different colour to the remainder of the leg. The outer wall of the pocket may thus be made plain, striped, with a Jacquard design, or with any other decorative design resulting from the combination of the kind of weaving or knitting used, the nature of the threads and their colour.</p> |
