Metal strip winding mandrel insertion mechanism - has frame secured by wedges with arms and height-adjusting bolts

The mechanism inserts interchangeable mandrels into a winding machine for metal strips of different thicknesses. A frame (6) is mounted on the side of the housing (1) accommodating the mandrel, being suspended on a plate (3) in holders (4) and secured by wedges (5). At the other end the frame has supporting arms with screw bolts (7) for height adjustment. There can be a truck (10) travelling on the frame, with eccentrics on both axles to give height and angle adjustment, actuated by handwheels via worm drives. Supporting forks can be screwed to both ends of the truck, with hinged levers equipped with roller bearings movable into two supporting positions.
