PURPOSE:To enhance interlayer adhesion strength between an organic photoconductor layer of a polyvinylcarbazole-trinitroflourenone type and a conductive layer, by forming an epoxy resin type specified hardened resin layer on a conductive layer. CONSTITUTION:An electrophotographic photoreceptor drum or a plate substrate, e.g. an aluminum drum undergoes polishing, followed by degreasing cleaning, drying, and cooling by a nitrogen gas stream. An aliphatic amine hardening agent solution and an epoxy resin solution are mixed and coated on the drum, and then hardened by heating. After cooling, a polyvinylcarbazole-trinitrofluorenone type organic photoconductor varnish is coated and dried by heating. A preferable film thickness of the hardened resin layer is 10Angstrom -5mum.
