COOLING SYSTEM FOR ON-VEHICLE SECONDARY BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately cool a secondary battery for driving a vehicle while sufficiently securing an opportunity of presence/absence detection of abnormality of a cooling fan.SOLUTION: A cooling system comprises: a cooling fan 40 blowing cooling air to a main battery 10; and a temperature sensor 61. The cooling system performs abnormality detection processing for detecting presence/absence of abnormality of the cooling fan 40 on the basis of an actual rotation speed thereof while driving the cooling fan 40 by a constant command value for a prescribed period when a temperature of the main battery 10 is equal to a first prescribed temperature or more after a start-up of an electric vehicle 90. In the cooling system, a control section 70 prohibits the cooling fan from being driven by the constant command value when the temperature of the main battery 10 is equal to a second prescribed temperature higher than the first prescribed temperature or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
