<p>The shuttering panel may be used in the building of in situ concrete walls etc. It comprises heavy gauge sheet metal facing (1) stiffened by vertical 'Z' sections (2) welded at horizontal intervals to the rear face. Perpendicular plates form a horizontal top (4) edge together with vertical side edges, and two horizontal rails (11, 12) locate cross ties etc. Connections between vertical panel edges may be made by pins and keys with three such fixing points being provided on each edge. Fittings may be secured to the panel with hinges providing for rapid clamping. Also, the panel may include a retractable high level walkway (13, 14) with toe rail and sockets (19) for guard rail posts (20). Walkway pans may be folded flat onto the panel when not in use, being pinned (17) to the panel, and supported by a detachable stay (15). Telescopic raking shoes (23, 24) may also fold onto the panel for transit, being secured by pins (17, 27) at the head.</p> |
