<p>a-Methyl-1,2,3,3a,4,5-hexahydro-6-oxo-6H-indolo(3,2,1-de) (1,5)-naphthyridine or 3a-methyl-6-canthinone derivs. of formula (I) and their acid addn. salts as the racemic mixt. or optical isomers are new. (Where R is H or 1-8C opt. branched alkyl). Used for treatment of depressive states, cardiovascular troubles adn cerebral oxygenation insufficiency (vigilance, cerebral vascular damage, cranial transnatism, cerebral sclerosis, cerebro-vascular and cardiocirculatory troubles). (I) are administered orally or parenterally in unit doses of 0.5-150 mg to give daily doses of 1-200 mg.</p> |
