PURPOSE:To facilitate the insertion of a coil into a substrate and improve the efficiency of the insertion operation by such a constitution that a conductive wire is bent and worked so that a number of coils are connected to each other at the forward ends of the legs of the coils. CONSTITUTION:The cascade coil 10 is of such a shape that a plurality of unit coils 13 consisting of coil parts 11 wound in a plurality of times, and a pair of legs 12 extended mutually in parallel in direction rectangular to the axial core of the coil parts, are connected to each other. Adjacent unit coils 13 are connected to each other at their forward ends of legs 12 by means connecting parts 14, and these coil parts 11, legs 12 and connecting parts 14 are formed continuously by bending and working a coated copper wire. By this procedure, the coils can be very easily inserted in the substrate by means of an automatic inserting machine and the insertion operation efficiency can be improved. |
