The grapes are collected by a conveyor belt and delivered to a cleaning mechanism with a suction fan separating the leaves and the shoots from the crop at the belt discharge. The conveyor (13) is inside a casing (14) forming a passage for the air drawn in by the fan (17). Immediately below the belt discharge (17) and upstream of the fan is a separator mechanism (21) stopping the passage of shoots falling from the belt. An opening in the casing (20) aids discharge of the projected shoots a drum collects the grapes passing through the separator mechanism.
