摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To achieve simplified unit, by keeping the temperature difference between the temperature of fluid and that of heated fluid at a constant value, and converting the quantity of energy required for heating into the flow rate of fluid. CONSTITUTION:Fluid flows toward the arrow direction of A in the pipe 1. The temperature of fluid is detected at the fluid temperature detector 2, the heater 3 which has a shape not disturbing the flow with a flat shape at understream and the fluid is heated and detected for the temperature at the detector of heating temperature 5. In this case, the power quantity fed to the heater 3 is controlled to keep the temperature difference by the detectors 2 and 5 at a constant value and the flow rate can be measured by using the function generator which converts the power quantity fed to the heater into the flow rate. Even in case of the pipe 1 of a large diameter, large sized detectors as conventional are not required and the entire unit can be simplified.</p>
