PURPOSE:To obtain circular-blanked glass having no differences of level at the top and bottom by providing a fixing plate and pressing ring for fixing a glass plate onto a working table, and blanking the same with the upper and lower core drills of the aligned central shafts. CONSTITUTION:A glass plate 13 is placed over the hole of a working table 9, and is fixed by a glass fixng plate 2 having a cushion body 11 which is a spring. Furhter, the outside circumference thereof is fixed with a pressing ring 3. The central shafts of upper and lower core drills 1,5 are placed on the same perpendicular line. The lower core drill 5 is rotated in contact with the under surface of the glass plate 13 until it cuts the glass plate to depth of about 1/4. The lower core drill 5 is lowered, and the double cylinders 6 mounted to a mounting base 7 are inserted to the underside of the glass plate 13 and are fixed thereto under pressure contacting. The upper core drill 1 is rotated and fell, and the glass plate 13 is cut 3/4 of its unnotched part. The upper core drill 1 is pulled up and the mounting and moving base 7 is detached from the working table 9 and is moved to outside the machine to extract the circular blanked glass. |
