PURPOSE:To convey a coillike wire material smoothly by dividing a chain conveyor to plural units of chain conveyors provided individually with driving machines and individually controlling the conveying speeds of the wire material. CONSTITUTION:A chain conveyor 2 is divided to plural pieces of chain conveyors A,...,F, and chains 10, 11 are put on between a main sprocket 8 and a driven sprocket 8. The top surface on the conveyors on the advance side is positioned lower than the conveyor surface on the succeeding side, whereby a level change is given. A high-temp. wire material W is formed continuously into a coil shape from a laying head 1, and is charged onto the conveyor A. It is conveyed in lamination in the form of successively shifting the coil center, thence it is placed on the conveyor B. Since there is a level change, it can be smoothly placed thereon. Further, it moves on the conveyors C, D, E, F and is bundled by a bundling machine 3. The wire material is transferred smoothly and surely by beforehand suitably adjusting the speeds of the conveyors A,...,F. |
