PURPOSE:To enhance the life performance of a pasted lead acid battery, by making an acid-proof plastic net or the like to be fused to a Pd-Ca system expanded grid. CONSTITUTION:An expanded grid 1 is prepared from a Pb-Ca system alloy. An acid-proof plastic net or an acid-proof perforated plastic sheet 2 made of polypropylene or the like is fused to either a surface or each surface of the grid 1. Following that, a positive and a negative plate are prepared from thus obtained grids by a conventional method, and a battery is constituted by means of these plates. |
