SPEED FLUCTUATION COMPENSATION UNIT FOR DIESEL POWER GENERATION UNIT

PURPOSE:To enhance allowable application load rates by controlling an air motor which drives a diesel engine with a means to detect the output voltage of generator and by compensating an instantaneous speed fluctuation for the power generation unit. CONSTITUTION:The output voltage of a generator 2, which is interlocked to a diesel engine 1, is detected by an instrument transformer 11 and an automatic frequency adjustment unit 12 to obtain its frequency fluctuations. A solenoid valve 7 is installed to a channel between a compressed air tank 5 and an air motor 4 which drives the diesel engine 1. The solenoid valve 7 is opened and closed in such a way that the volume of air to be supplied to the motor 4 is controlled and the speed flucturation of the engine is reduced.
