The safety harness has two belts (9,10) approaching or crossing at a dorsal zone (1), where they pass through a rear hooking-up ring (12). The belts extend downwardly into thigh belts (7,8). The main belts (9,10) pass through a single (13) or double buckle, which is solidly secured to fixing points (15A,15B) on their lower dorsal sections (91,101) between the dorsal zone and the thigh belts. The hooking-up ring is mounted between the buckle and the fixing points. The single buckle can be made of metal rod bent over and secured by belt sections (14A,14B) to the lower dorsal sections.
