摘要 PURPOSE:To smoothly increase the rotating speed of a carriage driving servo motor by controlling via nonfeedback the motor in an acceleration range from the stop of the carriage to the constant speed motion, thereby rotating it with the constant voltage as a DC motor in the range. CONSTITUTION:A switch 9 is connected to a rise controller 11 in an acceleration range, a start switch 10 is connected, and a servo motor 4 is rotated. As a result, the output voltage VRF of a control voltage unit 11 is outputted through an amplifier 3 to the motor 4, which is started merely as a DC motor corresponding to the output voltage VRF. When the rotating speed reaches the reference value, a CPU 8 switches the switch 9, and connects it to a servo motor control circuit. In this manner, the variation in the speed of the carriage of the printer driven by the motor 4 due to the variation in the load is detected by an encoder, is compared with the reference voltage VR, thereby regulating the voltage, and rotating the carriage at constant speed.
