Weatherproofing of concrete surfaces for use in dry countries comprises applying a hot coating of elastomer/ bitumen mixt. (the mixt. described in FR7922068) and then applying a polyester sheet. The polyester is pref. PET. The bitumen layer is pref. relatively thin (1.5 kg/sq. m min.).
