PURPOSE:To effectively use each area in a cassette memory, by selectively designating each area function of the cassette memory for an electronic register with a preset flag. CONSTITUTION:A main body memory 12 is provided with storage areas 12a- 12e designated with addresses 0-n. A cassette memory 20 is provided with storage areas 20a-20e corresponding to the main body memory 12 and also a flag storage area 20f storing a function designating flag of the said storage areas 20a-20e. This flag storage area 20f has digits, e.g., Ai(A5-A1) (not shown) corresponding to the storage areas 20a-20e, and when ''1'' is written in the digit Ai, the corresponding area is designated as an extension memory and when ''2'' is written in the digit Ai, the corresponding area is designated as a total sum memory. |
