1. Procedure for joining two cables, in which the cables have a cable core (1, 2) with at least one insulated conductor (1) and an armouring consisting of at least one layer of armouring elements (3; 23, 24) and the cable cores are joined together in the conventional manner, distinguished by the fact that a clip (5) fitting tightly to the material is fitted round the circumference of each cable over the armouring elements (3; 23, 24) before the cables cores are jointed and that, after the cable cores have been exposed and jointed, the armouring which have been brought into the original position are braced towards each other with a stretching device (14) encircling the clips, then joined together whilst the bracing is maintained and after that the bracing is released. |
