PURPOSE:To prolong the service life of a device, and to enable the continuous extrusion of it, by forming a shoe, which presses a steel material in corporation with a rotating wheel, with ceramic material. CONSTITUTION:A blank material 1, introduced to the space between the outer peripheral groove of a rotating wheel 2 and a shoe 4, moves along the outer periphery of the wheel 2 by an intruding force of the shoe 4 and is extruded from a die 3. The shoe 4 is formed with ceramic material such as alumina, silicon carbide, and silicon nitride, each of which has high hardness and high-temperature resistance and is bearable for a pressing force of a pressing mechanism. The device said above makes a service life of shoe longer, and bears a pressing force at high temperature, and enables the continuous extrusion. |
