PURPOSE:To arrange accurately the time axis between channels, by inserting a rectangular wave signal being the reference of time axis to a part of a horizontal synchronizing pulse. CONSTITUTION:A luminance signal Y including a horizontal synchronizing pulse PH applied to a terminal 1 is synthesized with a rectangular wave signal PR1 being a reference of the time axis of an adder 2 of a recorder 104. This pulse PR1 is inserted with an opposite polarity as the pulse PH. A luminance signal SY inserted with the pulse PR1 is recorded on a tape 6 through a pre-emphasis circuit 9 and an FM modulator 5. On the other hand, red and blue color difference signals R-Y and B-Y are compressed 40, synthesized with a rectangular wave signal PR2 at an adder 7 and a compressed color difference signal SC is formed. Further, the signal PR2 has a rise or a fall in matching with the signal PR1 timewise. The signal SC is recorded on the tape 6 via an FM modulator 8. The time axis between the channels is arranged accurately with the insertion of the pulses PR1 and PR2. |
