PURPOSE:To further increase the conversion efficiency of a solar battery by constituting the photo receiving area of the solar battery to approx. several cm<2>, and constructing the optical system so as to irradiate this device with the light amount of the best conversion efficiency. CONSTITUTION:Each of the solar batteries 3 is irradiated with a solar ray of a high energy density heat-removed by passing through photoconductor rods 2. Therefore, each solar battery is illuminated by a light amount several times larger than conventional, and the output voltage thereof increases in accordance therewith. However, thermal component is removed during passage through the photoconductors, therefore it is not possible that the solar battery generates thermal breakdown or that the efficiency is decreased by heat. Or, it is also available that fluorescent substance, etc. is mixed in the photoconductor rod 2, and that the solar ray transmitted through the photoconductor rod 2 may be changed into the wavelength of the best conversion efficiency of the solar battery used. |
