The centralised remote-control message comprises, on the one hand, a digitally coded binary section, including an address segment SA, an address mask segment SMA and a segment able to code for a group of orders, and, on the other hand, a non-coded binary section, each binary element of which is selectively associated with a particular order in each group of orders. At the site of each receiver member, a comparison 50 is made of the address segment SA received with a local address number NAL, apart from 51, 52, 53 of the binary elements of the address which are neutralised by the address mask segment SMA, in order to determine whether this receiver member is involved. <IMAGE>
