PURPOSE:To wind a tape while applying the most suitable tensile force being always constant to said tape, by winding it after making it to pass through a slit hole having width equal to that yielded when applying tension thereto. CONSTITUTION:A suspension string 3 having proper length is arranged to pass through the winding core 2 of rubber/plastic tape 1 wound in a roll and a gauge 4 having a certain weight and made of metal is connected to both ends of the suspension string 3. A slit hole 6 is provided through this gauge 4, having width approximately equal to that of an insulating rubber/plastic tape 5 whose width is reduced upon elongating it while applying prescribed tensile force thereto. After allowing the tip of the tape 5 to pass through this slit hole 6, the tape is wound around a member 7 to be insulated such as a cable connecting part etc. |
