The cat's toilet, which has been contested for a year, reduces the amount of cat litter required after re-adaptation to a small fraction of the estimated 2 kg a week which are otherwise usually necessary. It is naturally advisable to take into account the behaviour of the cat and to adapt the quantity of cat litter to that behaviour if necessary. By regular removal (every 2nd day) of the upper, soiled layers of newspaper - the consumption of cat litter remains low with the desirable thin application (one handful) - the cat's toilet can be kept permanently clean.
