<p>Compsn. comprises, in an acceptable medium, (a) a water-sol. polyglycerolated nonionic surfactant, or (b) a weakly anionic polyalkoxycarboxylate surfactant and/or (c) an amphoteric surfactant which is an acylated deriv. of a mono- or di-carboxylic, opt. cyclic, diaminoacid, and (d) a water-sol. heteropolysaccharide. Pref. (a) is (A) a condensate from a mono-alcohol, an alpha-diol, an alkylphenol or an amide with glycidol (or a precursor), (B) a cpd. of formula R2O-(-C2H3O-(CH2OH))qH, (C) a cpd. of formula R3CONH-CH2CH2-O-CH2CH2-O-(CH2CHOH)rH, or (D) a cpd. of formula R1-CHOH-CH2-O-(CH2CHOH-CH2-O-)-pH. R2 = alk(en)yl or alkaryl; q has statistical value 1-10; R3 = 8-30C (un)branched, (un)satd. aliphatic gp., opt. with 1 or more OH, of natural or synthetic origin; r = 1-5; R1 = 7-12C aliphatic, alicyclic or arylaliphatic gp., with the aliphatic chains opt. contg.
