PURPOSE:To visually confirm register shift and the contamination of a picture pattern by the naked eye, by performing the triggering of a stroboscope by counting the pulse corresponding to the rotation of a plate cylinder and providing a magnifying lens to the visual observation region of printing matter while allowing the stroboscope to emit light in synchronous relation to the rotation of a plate cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A rotary encoder 8 is attached to the gear 5 of the drive system of a plate cylinder 2 and the output thereof is applied to a synchronous apparatus 10. The synchronous apparatus 10 counts the pulse from the rotary encoder 8 to form a synchronous signal and the stroboscopic lamp 13 provided in a lamp house 12 is allowed to emit light. The reflected light from the surface of printing paper 1 is observed through a magnifying lens 14. An operator can observe a register mark in a stationary and magnified state. |
