Support for aircraft loads

The wedge support e.g. for jettisonable bombs or loads from aircraft has a longitudinal slot (15) with a triangular section rib (13) along the centre of its base inside a guide element (12). The support wedge is forced into the groove (15) under the vertical force (K). The support has two side edges (10b,10c) separated by the triangular rib (13) to generate a side face (K1) which prevents axial movement of the wedge. The wedge piece may be of dovetail or sounded cross section.
