<p>An injection molding machine and a method of controlling a back pressure thereof wherein a drag (frictional force) generated by a transmission mechanism interposed between a servo motor for injection and a screw is reflected on a set back pressure, in order to correctly control the set back pressure for the screw during the metering and kneading. A torque limit value and a rotational direction of the servo motor (M2) for injection are determined in each of the steps depending upon the relationship between the set back pressure and the drag for the transmission mechanism in each of the steps of metering and kneading. A torque limit is applied to a servo circuit (3) of the servo motor (M2) for injection depending upon a set torque limit value, and the servo motor (M2) for injection is driven in a predetermined rotational direction.</p> |
