The robot comprises a body (13) which supports equipment (6,7,10,11) for washing, grinding and or painting of bars. In the body are twin drive wheels (2) connected to a drive motor (1). The drive wheels (2) are rotatably located and remain in engagement with the bar on one side. A counter pressure wheel (3) engages the opposite side of the bar, and is connected to a cylinder and piston unit (4). This unit, and the drive wheel (2), presses the counter pressure wheel (3) to locate against the bar. |
