PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game server that can promote a real user to participate in a game by achieving a game environment easy to cooperate with other virtual users belonging to the same team.SOLUTION: A game server includes: an operation data receiving unit 11a for receiving operation data to operate a virtual user formed on a social game 20 from a terminal 3 connected over a communication network; a game progress unit (a quest part processing unit 101 and a battle part processing unit 102) for progressing the game every team to which one or more virtual users belong, according to the received operation data; and a position team determining unit 53 for determining a position team of one virtual user operated by one terminal 3, based on an operation history of the other game provided to the one terminal 3 from the team formed on the social game 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
